Super Bowl Sunday Snacker

Whether you’re rooting for the Rams or Bengals our Beer & Brat Nachos is a guaranteed touchdown

If you happen to find yourself watching football during the Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige concert, we have the perfect recipe for you! Share with friends or keep this recipe all to yourself, your Beer & Brat Nachos won’t fumble.

Ingredients:

- 1 pack of your favourite bratwurst (spicy if you’re daring)
- 2 cans lager or pilsner beer (we recommend Blue Moon Belgian Table Pils)
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 2 cups of sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 bag corn tortilla chips
- ½ cup sliced green onions
- ½ cup black or pinto beans
- ½ cup diced white onion
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ½ cup chopped fresh jalapeños
- ½ cup diced tomatoes

Step One:

In a large skillet, saute bratwurst for 3-5 minutes, or until browned. Next, pour in both cans of beer to the skillet and let simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes. After, remove the bratwurst from the pan.

Step Two:

Next, mix in your dijon mustard, cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese to the skillet with the remaining beer. Continuing stirring until it is smooth and creamy (about 5 minutes).

Pro tip: Now is a great time for a “taste test”. Grab some of your tortilla chips and salt and pepper to the mix if needed.

Step Three:

Mix together your pinto beans, white onion, red onion, fresh jalapeños and tomatoes to create your toppings mix.

Step Four:

Like Shrek, your nachos should have a lot of layers. Place half of your tortilla chips on a large serving platter. Spoon about half of the cheese mixture and a third of your toppings mix over the chips. Add the remaining half of your tortilla’s on top and pour remaining cheese sauce, toppings and your bratwurst. Sprinkle your chopped green onions on top for presentation points.

Finally, serve & enjoy immediately!
